Automation Project Leader will be responsible for leading one or more automation development projects—from requirements gathering to production start-up. You will play a key role in developing new process and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, product quality, and cost performance (including maintenance cost reduction and standardization).
About The Job

Define, realize, and implement programming for Programmable Logic Controllers, vision control systems, robots, and other devices.
Manage the automation scope of industrialization projects: identify technical solutions and materials, prepare cost estimates, define specifications, and follow up on implementation and validation.
Lead cross-functional automation project teams: internal and external resources.
Take full ownership of industrialization projects where automation and/or industrial IT are the main focus.
Ensure project delivery against QCD objectives (Quality, Cost, Delivery) and operational milestones.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, standardization, and performance tracking.
Participate in technological watch and validation of new automation technologies to support R&D and manufacturing evolution.

About You

Degree in Automation, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
Strong experience in industrial automation, industrial vision systems.
Robotics and industrial IT (PLC, SCADA, MES) are a plus.
Knowledge of micromechanics, measurement systems, and statistical tools is a plus.
Proficient with office tools; familiarity with automotive quality standards and ERP systems is advantageous.
Fluent in French (English is a plus).
Strong communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Results-driven, customer-oriented, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
A taste for fieldwork and field experience.
