Inside Sales Account Manager – Systems at Waters Corporation
We have a great opportunity for an Inside Sales Specialist to join the team in France. As a member of this team you will be armed with the Waters Instruments portfolio, tasked with developing sales leads into well‑qualified opportunities, and delivering incremental aftermarket revenue. Effective customer‑relationship skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to negotiate are crucial to succeeding in this role. You will be accountable for a defined sales territory within France with clear goals and a great deal of flexibility in how you approach this task.
Responsibilities

Meeting financial growth targets relating to instrument sales
Lead qualification for incoming leads to develop new business and expand existing opportunities for the field‑sales team
Working with marketing to develop and deliver messaging to promote product offerings
Quote handling for module‑based sales
Organization of in‑house/on‑site seminars with field sales account managers to promote solutions and products
Work closely with field‑sales colleagues, capital‑sales colleagues, business development and marketing to deliver a high degree of customer service

Qualifications
Education

Science‑related background and education would be beneficial

Experience

Advantageous to have experience working in a laboratory with liquid chromatography and/or mass spectrometry machines
Advantageous to have experience within technical sales
Commercially focused with previous experience in solution selling would be an advantage

Competencies

Fluent in French, technical English
Highly passionate individual with perseverance, determination, and the ability to work effectively in competitive sales situations
Proven skills in remote sales, from establishing contact and building rapport to managing complex sales with multiple stakeholders using remote means
Customer‑focused with good level of active listening skills
Exceptional organisational skills
Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
Solid team player with high degree of self‑motivation
