Position
The position is based in Bagno a Ripoli / Florence. The Plant Production Manager reporting directly to the LG Industrial Director will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end internal production operations, including production planning, operational efficiency, and workforce leadership. This role requires exceptional adaptability and the ability to manage complexity, while ensuring sustainable growth, efficiency, and high-level standards.
Job responsibilities

Develop and execute plant operations strategies aligned with business objectives and requirements.
Work together with the other dept. like the industrialization process in order to anticipate / manage and provide solutions to pre-production issues.
Collaborate with the Quality department to define technical aspects and testing activities and verify compliance with the company's quality parameters.
Lead and manage internal production department, ensuring consistent performance, quality standards, and operational excellence.
Oversee production, maintenance, supply chain, and engineering functions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on lean manufacturing, and process innovation.
Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams through effective leadership, coaching, and performance management.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Profile

Master’s Degree in Engineering or related fields
At least 10+ years of consolidated experience in similar role in the Fashion industry;
Excellent knowledge of bags, specifically on industrialization and production;
Strategic vision and medium- to long-term planning skills;
Excellent knowledge of production processes, continuous improvement techniques, and safety regulations;
Good problem-solving skills and results-oriented approach;
Strong leadership, communication and management skills;
