Project Engineer (Security Systems)
A global leader in security systems is recruiting for a Project Engineer to manage the entire production process, from design to delivery, for one or several projects. The Project Engineer will be responsible for extensive on‑site configuration and commissioning of access control and video management system/enterprise‑level CCTV systems.
Job Location & Requirements• The role requires a home base within easy commute of Paris and a valid driving licence.• Professional proficiency in French and English is required.
Responsibilities

Develop relationships with customers and promote the company to increase sales revenue.
Responsible for all customer satisfaction.
Monitor programmes progress and report this in regular meetings with managers and stakeholders funding the programme, resolving any problems as they arise.
Assign tasks to team members to ensure project objectives are completed as required.
Develop regular budgets and schedules to support the program’s implementation.
Create and implement guidelines for evaluating the program’s strengths and areas where improvement is required.
Oversee all project plans and implement job procedures, ensuring construction schedules and coordination of projects are completed to a high level.
Carry out site walks, client risk analysis and health & safety risk assessments, to enable the company to provide a professional and cost‑efficient service.
Oversee customer orders internally and coordinate the procurement of materials, supplies and services, and control timely delivery to the jobsite.
Determine necessary changes in design, contract price, implementation plan or other activities and implement them; devise a plan of action to remedy any project problems and implement plans to assure project profitability.
Select and monitor the performance of subcontractors.
Maintain all records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records and supervise the preparation and processing of reports for internal and external use.
Assist management in forecasting and ensure proper job management and cost control by reviewing financial statements. Monitor financial and other reports and work with other management tools to address project problems.
Ensure the team completes all paperwork including as‑builds, purchase orders, job close‑out reports, handover documentation, commissioning sheets, internal company records and that jobs are handed over correctly, timely and to standards.
