Project Manager - European Defence & Dual-Use Initiatives
Starting January/February 2026 (Full time - Freelance)
EuroQuity, Bpifrance’s digital matchmaking platform, connects companies with investors and business partners. Since its launch in 2008, EuroQuity has grown through strong partnerships with leading public and private organizations such as KfW (Germany), Wallonie Entreprendre (Belgium), Attijariwafa Bank (Morocco), and the European Commission.
With 23,000+ companies and 1,500 active investors, EuroQuity is a key player in Europe’s innovation ecosystem. Our services include ePitch sessions that connect startups with investors from early stage to Series C, and a growing network of international partnerships across Europe and Africa.
We are now expanding into the defence and dual‑use sector, officially launched with the European Defence Week. To drive this new activity and upcoming projects in 2026, we are looking for a dynamic Freelance Project Manager to lead operations and business development on this topic.
Your Mission:
Lead and animate the new defence and dual-use initiative: manage partnerships, engage the digital community, and organise online and onsite events.
Support business development in defence, security, and dual-use sectors in close collaboration with the team.
Plan and deliver online events: webinars, info sessions, B2B matchmaking, pitch sessions.
Coordinate onsite events in Paris and across Europe (e.g., Investor Days, Defence Week).
Provide operational support for other EU-funded projects managed by EuroQuity.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience as Project Manager or Project Lead (minimum 1 year).
Strong knowledge or interest in the Defence and Dual‑Use innovation ecosystem.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and French.
Ability to organise events and manage multiple stakeholders.
Experience working with startups, investors, corporates, and international networks is a plus.
You enjoy building relationships and thrive in collaborative environments.
Entrepreneurial mindset, autonomy, and strong networking skills.
Work in a dynamic, international team (10+ nationalities).
Be at the launch of a strategic initiative, with the opportunity to shape and lead its evolution.
Contribute to diverse European projects in a collaborative and friendly environment.
Based in Paris.
