Senior Business Analyst – Thaleria

Responsibilities
Perform studies by analysing documentation in the JHA domain (primary and secondary legislations, studies and other applicable texts), documenting, reviewing and contributing to the elaboration of business use cases, stakeholder business processes and the associated requirements.
Perform requirement engineering throughout the whole life cycle of the associated activities.
Develop Requirements Management Plans, specifying the information and control mechanisms used for measuring, reporting, and monitoring changes to the requirements.
Develop Requirements Traceability Matrixes (RTM) to ensure all the requirements are captured, and ensure later that the requirements have been met in the software product developed in the detailed specifications.
Ensure a comprehensive requirement gathering activity.
Perform requirements analysis, determining whether the stated requirements are clear, complete, consistent and unambiguous, and resolving any conflicts.
Perform stakeholders mapping, identifying relevant stakeholders for requirements input.
Collect the Business needs and demand requests.
Develop with Business counterparts comprehensive end-to-end use cases.
Coordinate with Solutions / Business Architects for the technical specifications.
Employ suitable requirements gathering methods (interviews, workshops, surveys, job observation, wire‑frames/mock‑ups, etc.).
Liaise closely with the associated units / sectors to capture and understand their business needs and processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Contribute to the definition, provision and management of high‑quality business use cases and requirements, addressing the business needs.
Contribute to the streamlining and harmonisation of business processes.
Ensure the coherence of the proposed solutions with the corporate enterprise requirements / processes.
Maintain quality, consistency and completeness of the business use cases and requirements by ensuring artefacts comply with the Contracting Authority's quality standards and that all activities comply with its framework, policies and methodologies.
Provide feedback for stakeholder training and support.
Guide and follow up with consultants.
Contribute to other activities of BRMS, such as preparing presentations, reporting and actions follow‑up at governance level.
Liaise with the Agency's stakeholders to better understand their business needs.
Understand the Business process and analyse it in detail, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions.
Contribute to continuous services and Business processes improvement.
Participate in communication, marketing and outreach strategies.
Manage associated deliverables.
Keep an updated view of market evolution within the associated perimeter.
Perform any other tasks related to the area of work as requested.
Handle iteration and release planning.
Engage stakeholders.
Attend Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
B2 level of English minimum. Knowledge of French is an asset.
Minimum 4 years of education (master degree or equivalent, after secondary school) in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent in Management, Engineering and/or Information Technologies).
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in positions aligned with this job description.
Sound knowledge of business analysis methodologies and best practices, demonstrated by practical experience in IT projects and preferably by certifications on internationally recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2, AGILE, TOGAF, LEAN, BABOK and ISTQB or equivalent.
Experience in requirements development and management in software development projects throughout the full software development life cycle.
Experience in feasibility studies, market studies (software), and/or preparation of business cases and IT work plans.
Experience with project management tools, methodologies and best practices.
Experience in contract management of IT services.
Certification in Prince 2 and BABOK is considered an asset.
