Design, implement and supporting documentation for networking and virtual computing infrastructures according to project requirements.
Build, deploy, and manage all open-source server management Platform for enterprise virtualization in accordance with standards and operational requirements, including configuration of hardware, services, storage, container..
Work closely with the Product Software Development, Technical Office and R&D teams to design and deploy systems in line with the specific project requirements and IT strategy.
Follow Change Management processes and be responsible for common Infrastructure changes (Networking, VPNs, Firewalls, etc..), including the planning and implementation of updates.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure appropriate monitoring controls are in place, identify requirements & issue and propose proactive solutions.
Oversee and design monitoring systems, including Zabbix and Influxdb, to get insights and proactively resolve problems before service disruption.
Investigate and troubleshoot on system and software configuration and related performance issues
Automate the provisioning and maintenance of internal IT personal assets
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible, automated approaches for system administration tasks
Perform complete life cycle management of compute hardware, including deployment, configuration, refresh, and decommissioning
Provide engineering support for compute infrastructure; this will include monitoring and troubleshooting compute-related problems
Extensively partner with business groups and vendors to consult on technical solutions which move the business forward

Competenze ed esperienza

Experience in managing Linux operating systems
Practical experience with setup, configuration, operation and management of virtualized infrastructures, including VMs and hypervisor technologies (Proxmox, OpenStack, etc.), as well as container systems (i.e Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
Good experience with network and services configuration (i.e. VLAN, DNS, routing, firewall, etc.) and In-depth knowledge of networking principles
Good knowledge of PC and Dell server hardware (e.g. Idrac, etc.)
Root Analysis Methodology and Problem Solving Approach
Ability to move independently in the implementation of installation packages/scripts
