Ugecam Occitanie invites applications for a nighttime educator and social support role dedicated to adults with severe autism and complex behavioral challenges. The position is a CDD, starting 01 December 2025.
Overview
As part of the Passerelle dispositif, you will provide secure, stable support during night shifts in a residential setting. Your work will focus on maintaining safety, encouraging daily living skills, and promoting autonomy for adults with severe behavioral issues and minimal communication.
Responsibilities

Ensure safe, stable presence for adults with severe behavioral challenges during nighttime hours.
Motivate daily living activities to foster independence.
Build a relationship of trust and stability based on repetition, consistency, and kindness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the living area.
Assist the educator, IDE, or teacher in leading group activities for early learning and socialization.
Demonstrate compassion, patience, adaptability, and keen observation skills.
Support acquisition of life skills, respecting hygiene, cleanliness, and respect rules.
Assist individuals with disabilities in daily living tasks.
Develop and monitor personalized support plans.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
Contribute to needs assessment and intervention strategy development.
Promote autonomy and social integration of supported individuals.
Track progress and adjust interventions when necessary.
Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols.
Participate in synthesis meetings and ongoing training.
Follow existing procedures and protocols.
Maintain proficiency with computerized patient records.
Report any adverse events.
Display good‑treatment practices and remain flexible, especially in challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of neuro‑developmental disorders (ASD, severe intellectual disability, behavior disorders).
Experience or training in educational approaches such as TEACCH, PECS, ABA, guidance, or positive reinforcement is an advantage.
Adaptability and ability to manage complex situations.
Patience and perseverance in challenging environments.
Flexibility and availability, particularly during night shifts.

Employment Details

Contract type: CDD.
Salary: up to €26 845,92 annually gross, depending on profile, plus incentive bonuses and Ségur bonus.
Working hours: Night shift – part‑time, 1 night per week (Tuesday) from 20h50 to 6h30.
Additional annual leave based on seniority and dependent children.
