AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has been part of the BNP Paribas Group since July 1, 2025, following the completion of its acquisition. Department
Launched in 2022, AXA IM Prime is the Private Markets Enabler and Hedge Funds platform of AXA IM, part of the BNP Paribas Group, with c. €40 billion of assets under management as at the end of December 2024. With over 140 professionals across 6 countries, AXA IM Prime leverages long‑term relationships with 350 General Partners. The investment offering spans a wide range of private market solutions through primaries, secondaries and co‑investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt and hedge funds. As both a principal investor and a General Partner, AXA IM Prime aims to create sustainable value for clients and is committed to being a long‑term responsible investor including active engagement with our partners.
Main responsibilities
Interns get a priviledged seat to assess some of the most interesting private markets players in the asset management industry on a range of topics including their economics, their fund performances and their long‑term strategic positioning. The team is lean and highly entrepreneurial, so the role offers significant responsibility and learning from day one.
Assist the investment team in various aspects of the investment process (sourcing, valuation, due diligence).
Conduct sector and asset class specific research by reading industry reports.
Analyze public company filings and gather data sets for proprietary analytics on trading performance.
Conduct ad hoc analyses including responding to LP inquiries, marketing presentations, industry benchmarking, analyzing industry trends and more.
Prepare the quarterly newsletter related to GP Stakes activity.
Tracking interactions with, and projects related to, portfolio GPs.
Qualifications

Education/Qualifications:
Undertaking a masters or advanced degree in Finance / Economics
Skills and Candidate Profile:
Previous experience in M&A, Private Equity or Management Consulting is preferred.
Interested in the asset management industry and alternative asset classes.
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage databases used to drive decision‑making.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a collaborative approach.
Fluent English speaker.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (essential), Powerpoint and Word.
