Head of MSAT Recombinant Mammalian DS Platform

About The Role
Sanofi's Global MSAT (Manufacturing Sciences, Analytics, and Technology) is seeking an experienced leader to head the Upstream/Downstream MSAT team at our Vitry site. This strategic role combines technical leadership with site-level governance as the Primary Interface between Site & MSAT (PrISM), including membership on the Site's Leadership Team.
Your Mission
Lead technical oversight and support of manufacturing activities within Sanofi's global biologics network
Drive Commercial Manufacturing Support, Lifecycle Management (LCM), and process improvements
Oversee Scale up/Tech Transfer, Process Validation, and regulatory support
Collaborate across functions (upstream, downstream, analytical, CMC, manufacturing, regulatory) to optimize drug substance processes
Manage MSAT laboratories and small-scale models for manufacturing support studies
Key Responsibilities As PrISM
Active core member of the Site Leadership Team
Drive site roadmap execution aligned with Manufacturing & Supply's strategic plan
Ensure optimal communication and service level between MSAT and site stakeholders
Focal point for site requests and MSAT network engagement
Your Profile
Master's or PhD in Biological/Biomedical Sciences/Engineering; 10+ years in biopharmaceutical industry (process development, scale-up, validation, or manufacturing support); Proven experience with large-scale mammalian cell culture manufacturing and cGMP; Strong knowledge of US/EU regulations; Track record of building and leading high-performance technical teams; Fluent English (oral and written).
