IT-Technician (all genders) – Contabo
Location: Lauterbourg, Grand Est region, France. Permanent, full‑time.
Job Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair servers and other data‑center infrastructure.
Cable IT and network components.
Optimize newly built data centers through server relocations or rebuilds.
Maintain documentation and expand the knowledge database.
Monitor the IT infrastructure and resolve incidents quickly and properly, with or without support from specialist teams.
Participate in change and service‑management processes to continuously improve the infrastructure.

Qualifications

Completed training in IT system electronics, IT system integration or several years of experience in server technology in data centers, working with Windows and Linux operating systems.
Willingness to work in a shift system with continuous 24‑hour staffing and good physical fitness for carrying or lifting equipment and components.
Enthusiasm for electrical engineering and information technology and a hands‑on work mentality.
Technical understanding and manual dexterity to act confidently even in challenging situations.
Strong analytical problem‑solving skills coupled with excellent communication skills.
Very good written and verbal skills in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus.
