Job Description
We are looking for an Aircraft Control M&T Toolchain developer (m/f) for our Commercial Aircraft business to join the Aircraft Control Method and Tools team based in Toulouse, France.
You will be part of the team in charge of defining, developing and supporting all tools, simulation applications and associated models for the design of Aircraft Control Systems on all Aircraft programs.
Due to new program development and implementation of a new way of working our team is growing and we need you! With us you will discover the flight control domain and state‑of‑the‑art methods of software development and integration.

Your challenges
Design the flight control software production factory (automated tools chain) following a DevOps approach.
Understand and support the aircraft control systems designers by providing quick and reactive solutions. The main actors are handling‑qualities specialists, control‑laws designers, and aircraft control systems designers (including primary flight controls, hydraulics, actuators, high lift).
Capture the needs, define, prototype and implement the solution.
Support users.
Ensure the implementation of harmonized methods within the domain.
Disseminate the new methods and tools in the Airbus system design teams (DevOps, IA).
Ensure technological watch on methods and tools (state‑of‑the‑art, innovation).
There are five main categories of tools dedicated to support aircraft control team members in their activities:
A/C Design tools
System Design tools
Modelling & Simulation tools
Testing tools
DevOps tools
Your boarding pass
8 years experience in software development, in a DevOps environment.
Software development skills:
Rapid prototyping to evaluate solutions (scripting)
Object‑oriented programming (one of the following: C++, Java, Python, PowerShell)
Continuous integration (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, API)
Soft skills:
User‑oriented, ability to capture user needs
Team spirit, communication skills
Autonomy, curiosity
System engineering (nice to have)
