Department AXA IM Prime is the private assets one-stop platform of AXA IM, offering investments across private equity, infrastructure equity, private debt and hedge funds. We offer diversified sources of private market returns through primaries, secondaries, co-investments, as well as NAV financing and GP minority stakes solutions. Through partnerships with best-in-class fund managers, we tailor investment solutions for institutional investors and wealth managers that support long-term sustainable growth. AXA IM Prime’s team of seasoned investment professionals has a long history of meeting AXA group’s ambitious investment targets whilst incorporating proactive ESG commitments and strict risk management criteria. Discover your Opportunity
As an intern in the Private Debt Funds of Funds team, you will gain hands‑on experience in private debt fund selection, portfolio management, and investment analysis. You will support the team in the following tasks:

Investment & Due Diligence

Assist the team in screening and evaluating new private debt funds investment opportunities.
Support due diligence processes and contribute to drafting Investment Committee memos.


Database Management

Assist in maintaining a newly implemented CRM database, ensuring it stays up to date and accurately records all team activities.


Market Intelligence

Track private debt market trends and fundraising activity.


Monitoring the private debt portfolio

Assist in preparing quarterly reports, providing insights on fund performance, key portfolio developments, and market trends.
Help prepare ad hoc reports to address specific investor or internal requests, such as stress test, cash‑flow projections, or deep dives into specific funds or sectors.


Investment opportunity assessment

Review investment opportunities proposed by some GPs and quickly assess their credit merits and associated risks.


ESG & Sustainability Initiatives

Assist in integrating ESG considerations into investment analysis and monitoring.
Contribute to ESG‑related reporting and tracking initiatives.



Qualifications
Education / Qualifications Final year of Master’s degree in Economics or Engineering (with applied finance).
Language Fluency in written and spoken English; foreign languages (German, Nordics, Dutch, French) are a plus.
Experience A first experience in Leveraged finance/ DCM, M&A, Private Equity or Transactions Services is required.
Technical Skills Knowledge of credit and financial analysis, cash‑flow modelling and debt instruments. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
